Our Drilling Equipment

Reflex has a range of drills, from powerful limited-access tracked core drills to larger track mounted Multipurpose Reverse Circulation Diamond drills. Allowing Reflex to supply exactly what is needed for the requirements of individual sites.

Each drill package has its own comprehensive Containerised mobile workshop/office and either a tracked carrier or all-wheel drive support vehicle. Included is sufficient down hole equipment to carry out both RC and Core drilling projects in the most remote locations.

Multi-Purpose machines:

Reflex's new Gemex drills are powerful compact multi-purpose top head drive machines. Engineered and track mounted to meet the harsh drilling requirements found on pit and rough terrain mining projects. Purpose built to minimise ground disturbance and to significantly reduce site preparation costs.

 

Reflex's Gemex drills have been standardised to insure that Reflex is able to hold a comprehensive parts inventory in Ghana. This allows Reflex to respond quickly and efficiently to any mechanical issue, minimising downtime and maximising production.

Tracked Core Rigs

Reflex's new TRACKED CORE RIGS, allows the client to undertake deeper drilling projects, which previously would have been either extremely difficult for larger drills to access or subject to environmental impact restraints. Further more these drills are easily transportable, fitting into a standard sea container with plenty of room for support equipment.

 

Reflex's core drills have been standardised to insure that Reflex is able to hold a comprehensive parts inventory in Ghana. This allows Reflex to respond quickly and efficiently to any mechanical issue, minimising downtime and maximising production.

Core Drill machines are capable of:

REFLEX support equipment includes tracked carriers and all wheel drive trucks, mobile rig office and stores with well appointed modern self contained workshop facilities. Satellite communication systems are utilised in all remote areas.

 
 

Heli-Man Portable Rigs:

Reflex's new HELI-MAN PORTABLE CORE RIGS, allows the client to undertake the most remote drilling projects. The drills are designed to breakdown into small modules for ease of moving in harsh terrain, and tight access areas by either helicopter or man power.

 

These drills have been developed over a number of years to become reliable and powerful in all conditions. The model is a spindle drive machine , so air drilling and mud rotary drilling can also be done using this drill.

Tracked Carriers:

REFLEX utizizes all terrain rubber and steel tracked carriers for rig support operations in the field. This allows greater access to areas previously un assessable due to environmental or budget related restraints.

Rig Base Stations:

Each drill package has its own multi functional containerised Base Station to act as a central support point to each drilling project. Essentially the Base station offers 3 functions,

 

Site Office:
Modern office facility equipped with latest Satellite communications offering 24/7 internet and phone connection to any global location.

 

Workshop:
Fully equipped workshop with hydraulic repair facilities to provide preventative maintenance and first line repairs encountered on site.

 

Store:
Stocked with sufficient mechanical and down hole equipment to carry out both RC and Core drilling projects continuously for a minimum of 3 months in the most remote global locations.
